Programming Workshop #2
In our 2nd meeting, we gathered to review their homework that we assigned at the end of our first meeting. We left them with a family of key questions to spark creative thinking about “What’s in your space?”. Key areas or functions were identified to probe detailed thinking for what they would like to physically have become a part of their new building and site development. With no idea too small, populating topical boards with “post-it” notes was a warm approach to a tool well known by teachers.

The results are rich and we now have ideas we never would have had without this process. The “old school” methods of designing a building program without involvement from the end user are clearly out for “new school” design.
Thank you for allowing us this opportunity to bring out your best and raise our intelligence! |
