Site Design Process
Working alongside VIA, our landscape architect (WPL) and civil engineer (Kimley-Horn) will conduct a total of three Site Design Workshops that follow, enhance, and integrate into the Building Design Workshops. This integrated site and building design approach is crucial to achieving the goal for the new Thoroughgood ~ a natural, sustainable, inspirational response to the needs of its students and leadership.

Site Design Workshop #1
Held on March 2nd, the first site design workshop engaged and educated the site and building committees and challenged them to integrally design their site and building.

Site Design Workshop #2
Here are images, drawings, and analysis from March 30th site design exercises. In this workshop, we creatively looked at site amenities and direct commentary as to how the building should interact with the neighborhood.

Site Design Workshop #3
With one more opportunity to comment on the site design and features, the site design committee evaluated once again the proposed site features, their location on the site, and appropriateness for the project.
