Programming Process
Leveraging the 4 “C’s” = Collaboration, Creativity, Critical Thinking + Communicating” are represented in the project start-up Programming Workshops. This triple bottom line process will ultimately have a socioeconomic environmental impact on the bottom line of
EQUITY – INCLUSION – EMPATHY. |
Programming Workshop #1
In this first meeting, we decided to probe at the softer, warm fuzzy, less tangible, and more visceral side of educational programming for their Pre-K - 5th grade school. Not only are we trying to see and understand who Thoroughgood is, but we want to help them see themselves. Once we share this understanding, we have found that common place to start doing what we do best.

Programming Workshop #2
In our 2nd meeting, we gathered to review their homework. At the end of our first meeting, we left them with a family of key questions to spark creative thinking about “What’s in your space?”. Key areas or functions were identified to probe detailed thinking for what they would like to physically have become a part of their new building and site development. With no idea too small, populating topical boards with “post-it” notes was a warm approach to a tool well known by teachers.
